Throughout the history of RA2, many community members have made custom arenas. These arenas can range from simple reskins of stock arenas to completely original arenas made from scratch. With the advent of dummy's tools, plus later additions from Serge and Firebeetle, many members have created their own arenas (mostly for tournaments).

There are 12 working arenas (not counting the practice arena) included with the stock version of the game. These served as the basis for many of the subsequent user-created arenas, a number of which were reskins of stock arenas.
