Ian is known as the innovator of the AW axle spinners, which are antweight robots that have their weapons spin while moving and pick up rotation speed on impact. These axle spinners include AW face spinners, horizontal spinners and vertical spinners. He is also the creator of the ultimate rumble match in which all robots involved are given random entry numbers, the match starts out as a battle royal but when 1 robot is eliminated the next comes in.

Ianh05 is also a tournament host and has hosted many tournaments most notably Tag Team Challenge and Robo Zone (along with Robo Zone 2).
Ianh05 has also released a stock AI pack named Stock Mini's AI that features all antweights based on popular stock robots such as BEAR, EMERGENCY, Fury, Rabid Pitbull, Neglected Waterbug and Absolute Chaos.
He quit in 2012 in a fit of rage, and deleted most of his work for the community, but all downloads are backed up in their respective threads.
Upon his return in 2013 he has continued work on AI packs and tournaments but he has also provided some UI improvements.

an Antweight axle HS with a plow, based of the popular Starcore middleweight Fury. Ianh05 believes this will be one of the most challenging antweights to defeat in the pack as it has defense against rammers and can hit robots on the sides with its iron spike.
