A DSL equivalant of caster armor, Narmor takes advantage of the odd collision mesh of the skirt hinge component. It involves attaching a series of skirt hinges along a robot's front side and angling them to create a near-impenetrable and largely invisible shield. The advantages over caster armor are, it is much, much lighter, covers more area, and can be attached to slopes easily. The disadvantages are mainly getting trashed by other members (due to its unrealistic characteristics), but also wide wedges tend to get stuck between 2 skirt hinges (somehow like caster armor but worse)

The name "Narmor" is derived from Naryar, who was the first to utilise this glitch, doing so with his BBEANS 6 entrant, but the name was coined by NFX as a joke during a discussion about realism in DSL.

Narmor is considered unrealistic by most members, and is banned in some upcoming tournaments. JoeBlo has since developed a Narmor "fix", essentially a skirt hinge without a collision mesh.

Bots using Narmor

-Terrible Sight, LW true popup, came 13th in BBEANS6

-Shiva, SHW true popup, Rust In Pieces 2's loser's bracket winner.

-Eclipse, HW popup, first implementation of the glitch in NAR AI v1
