Bumble Bee was a Heavyweight Crawler/SnS hybrid built by Sage and entered into BBEANS 5 and is most likely one of the most controversial bots in the history of BBEANS. This is Sage's third try at BBEANS, with Bio Quad for BBEANS 3 and Ham-mer Sandwich 2 for BBEANS 4.

It had a bye at the first round, then (to everyone's surprise) lost to a poorly build complex HS (Bumble Bee was AI-ed for crawling towards it's opponent, then spinning, like a SnS).
In the loser's bracket, it first faced a rammer/hammer hybrid which went under Bumble Bee's spinners and got KO-ed for its efforts. Then it fought ACAMS's FS, that shoved Bumble Bee all across the arena, getting slowly ripped apart and KO'ed twice. The third fight, Bumble Bee was flipped OOTA by one of the arena flippers. Bumble Bee was then sent out of the tournament when it lost to Starcore's HS. Sage is ranked 10th in BBEANS standings.
