Trivia
Sparkey prefers building in DSL and building realistic, creative designs similar to that of RadioFsoftware

Sparkey98 is a member of the forums, joining on December 4 2009.

At one point, he was considerd to be the biggest n00b on the forums, just as bad, if not worse than LRA2. Since then, he appears to have (and insists he has somewhat) improved. He used to get very flipped out over jokes and constructive critisicm, thinking that users were insulting him. He has ADHD and might have some symptoms of autism.

At one point he was trying to get as many Vets to come back as he could. So far he has managed to get Duh102, and quite a few others to drop by. He has also talked to Jimxorb but he angered a couple of people which got him a good telling off by ACAMS.

He seems to believe that he is famous for creating a fad on Gametechmods to build bots in Microsoft Paint, and has managed to get it to spread to other forums. Unfortunately, his drawing skills are average, but he seems to not be concerned by this, claiming that he is still learning, allthough hae does admit he needs to work on his kill. Some believe that he could be double accounting as qwertythe300th, who just recently joined GTM, speaks and acts in the same way as sparkey98. They also like all the same things such as MSPaint bots and Fantasy robot battles.

He made many "I'm leaving" threads in which he claims to leave GTM after posting a wall of angry text. He kept coming back not long after. He appears to have stopped this behavior, although it may just be a pause. Generally makes many chatterbox threads that often get TLT'ed. Goldenfox93 named this style of posts "pulling a sparkey".

Bot Building

Stock: below average, does not know how to eFFe well, and has issues building to the weight limit. Recently got quite a bit better than he was before. DSL: Better than he is at stock, but not brilliant in any way. Finally beginning to to understand the simple sentence "build to weight limit".

  • The Neptus series: a stock series of 7 flipping robots, the latest having a backup clamp. At one point he started a huge debate, claiming that Neptus rupted. He later learned it does not.
  • Huggy: Sparkey's first "good" (in his opinon, proper motors, batts, wheels, and others, make it good) DSL bot, that has an HS with two El Diablo tails so it looks like it has arms and hands, the latest having blades.
  • Shred 'n Stab: Sparkey's first 'good'(first to beat all stock AI HWs, Many would like to believe he did'nt justify the claim, but he did infact post several versions of the bots in his showcase) bot with above 20 versions as of now, it has two Face spinners on the front and 2 spikes on the back
  • Devils thorn: a MW wedge with two flame throwers, to be entered in the April '10 BOTM.
  • Saw N00b: Sparkey's first "remarkabley good" DSL bot, able to take down Mako, among others, in a matter of seconds.
