"Too high? the damn plow should be high so bots can't have a high ground clearance to get over DUH" -LRA2 in his DSL showcase. life robot arena2
Originally joined as life robot arena2 in May 2009, claiming to be an 8 year old living 'in the uk near newcastle' and called Scott.
Was annoyed very easily and totally irrationally, and he has very poor English skills (Strangely, S32 never cared much about this). Overuses CAPS LOCK, big red letters, swearing and bumps. These factors, plus threats to members, contributed to flaming towards him.
Had some very hard time using WinRAR and extracting DSL, managing it after precise instructions, and testing the patience of some, notably JoeBlo.
Tried to host several tournaments in the early days. Clash Bots was closed due to lack of skills on LRA2's part, Fast'Furious'Bots was closed due to being a 'manual tournament' and copying ideas from other tournaments at the time, and then CHAOS IN THE TORPEDO, which was closed due to odd component selection and lack of effort (The rules being simply "BBEANS RULES APPLY").
After being defeated by TakatsukiYayoi in the wildcard round of Clash Cubes 2, when both of their bots were pitted, Life robot arena2 claimed he left the forums, with a bold statement in a blitz of large, bold, red, caps-locked letters. He blamed the loss on JoeBlo for AIing it incorrectly, because he "couldn't have lost otherwise." Mere hours afterward, he returned claiming he is giving the community 'a few more chances'.
Had a grudge against Sparkey98, resulting in a grudge match tournament 'Not Overly Epic Showdown.'
Has had several ranks on the forum, from NOOBweight to Pre-Banned-weight (before being banned for 2 days) to CHEATERweight (given to him by ACAMS after he was caught cheating in Robot Design Tournament #3).
Avalanche
Life robot arena2 is now, according to his title, banned and claimed to be 'retired', but this was not true as he returned to the forums as 'Avalanche'. He admitted this after a few months of anonymity.
He was generally re-accepted into the community because he has ceased to spam in any large amounts, although has since caused a few stirs in the community causing some to want him re-banned - such as messing up the popular 'Story Time' thread, and controlling his own bot in his Terror Twisters tournament. A notorious example of him doing this in the Tournament was in a small "Grudge Match" of sorts against GoldenFox93 and Stagfish. In this match, he stole a BBEANS robot, SurgicalStrike and controlled it himself against two robots chosen by his opponents, which he won by pinning his opponents against the wall. This unfair attempt at victory prompted a particularly angry reaction from GF93. Avalanche responded by deleting his comment on the YouTube video of the "fight", and blocking him. As a result of this, GF93 and Avalanche now have a major grudge against each other. Avalanche has only uploaded 6 matches (including the grudge match) in a month.
"Avalanche 2013-2015+ (Note: This part of the article was written by Avalanche himself and needs updating.) Avalanche still mills about on the forum, and has slightly matured (in his opinion, but hey, his english improved.). Slightly. Being in the top 5 worst reputations for a reason, he still lashes out in stupid outbursts of attacking, trolling and etc. Finally completed a tournament, but laced with delays and stupidity. Has a knack for ripping into new players within their showcases to try and improve them, however, the advice tends to rip and insult them, undermining the point of helping.
Bot building
LRA2 is known to enter SFTW's in tournament without problem, which he has already done, twice.
Stock: Slightly varies from average to bad.
DSL: Slightly better. Did released a small AI pack... that was considered as worthless by the community. After flaming his critics by telling them they should AI themselves for his tournament, he earned a small amount of anti-respect.
Avalanche (Around 2012)(Written By Avalanche)
Stock: Still bad. Slightly better but not by much.
DSL: Slightly better, actually winning some matches in tournaments. Never doing very well however.
Avalanche (2013-2015) (Avalanche wrote this one as well.)
Stock: No longer plays.Complete garbage if forced to enter, falling back on 2 old bots, Pins and Needles and MR Punch 2. Both of which are bad to average.
DSL Much better than LRA2 era, but not great. No longer does DSL-S as he is terrible at it. He thrives in IRL with judge bursts available.
Ironforge Thriving. All bots have room for improvement but are actually good for once.
Challenges
Has had a Stock HW Tag Team challenge against RPJK and lost, however his invertible bot was not AIed as so, resulting in a restart, which he won.
Also had 2 DSL MW Tag Team Title matches, winning his first match vs Helloface, then lost the titles to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Tournaments
Doomed Bots (2 straight losses.) Clash Cubes 2 and 3 (Straight failures.) Havok DQ in: HTF Summer 2014, Battlebots 6/7
His Clash Cubes 2 Wild Card entry, Chain of Impending DOOM, lost it's first match. It also lost several more grudge matches, including a match against Cube from the West, a robot modelled after Spinner from the West for use in Clash Cubes qualifying.
Anti Gravity: His most successful bot, which won 2 matches in Blades Of Fury(2). He first beat Hadron 2 via Judges Decision 36-35, then Dragonslayer by Outwedging him and letting him fling himself out of the arena. He lost the tournament soon after.
Scratch N Sniff and Blitzkrieg 2: Both bots were entered into Battlebots 6, the latter re-entered into 7. Both bots lost all their matches.
Anti Gravity 3 through 4: Has entered several tournaments, including a few Battlebots tournaments and HTF 2014. It has had a range of failures, mainly Havok DQs.
