Playground is the complete off-topic section of Gametechmods. Posts here do not count towards one's post count, which is why you can see someone make a ton of posts in playground and their post count remain the same. The rules that apply to the rest of GTM are also alot looser here and it is very difficult to get banned/muted/warned for actions in here. Many "low quality" threads that get TLT'd to oblivion or threads that could possibly cause a flame war are commonly either moved to here or locked right on the spot.

Playground is mostly unmoderated by the original staff, but thread creators can mod their own thread, for good or ill.

Few things are not allowed in playground, but most are.

Playground is known to be one of the many homes of Off-topic dwellers.

Sparkey98 used to make many pointless threads there until he was Perma-banned.

People who post in playground a lot tend not to contribute to RA2 as much as other members for one reason or another, maybe their copy of RA2 doesn't work, or maybe they simply cannot be bothered to boot it up and make bots.
