Trivia
Sparkey/Jamin is a professional box-kicker.

Jamin (Sparkey98 prior to double accounting) is a member of the forums, joining on December 4 2009, and was considered to be the biggest n00b on the forums, just as bad, if not worse than LRA2. He used to get very flipped out over jokes and constructive criticism, thinking that users were insulting him. He promised to improve his behavior and mature. When in the presence of another n00b, he will most likely whack the other noob.

At one point he was trying to get as many vets to come back as he could. So far he has managed to get Duh102 and mean2u to drop by, also talking to JimXorb. However, he angered a couple of people which got him a good telling off by ACAMS.

He used to make many "I'm leaving" threads in which he claims to leave GTM after posting a wall of angry text, coming back not long after. Also generally used to make many chatterbox threads that often get TLT'ed. GoldenFox93 named this style of posts "Pulling a Sparkey".

Sparkey was also running his own 'underground' tourny, RANDOM BATTLES W00T, which has over 200 entries. He has since paused it due to personal issues (it never continued).

Eventually he wound up asking to have himself banned, and tried to come back as Start the Flame, a whole new account. That account was quickly deleted, though. He has later returned with his original account, renamed to Sypher878.

Has been "Muted" Multiple times in the space on a month.

After a period of mere low level aggression in the chatterbox, Sparkey has been banned yet again for multi-accounting. Then he decided to go play mind games with Kill343gs who permabanned him instead.

After the permaban, Sparkey was unbanned in May 2012, and lasted one month (still being sometimes aggressive in off-topic). Then he got banned after a large flame war he ignited.

As of July/August 2012, he has returned under the name "Jamin" and has visibly improved his behavior.

Bot Building

  • Stock: Average, does not know how to eFFe well, and sometimes has issues building to the weight limit. Recently got a lot better than he was before, able to defeat Starcore 4 Tempus Fugit for the first time.
  • DSL: Used to be better than he was at stock, but not brilliant in any way.
  • Neptus series: a stock series of 7 flipping robots, the latest having a backup clamp. At one point he started a huge debate, claiming that Neptus rupted. He later learned it does not.
  • Shred 'n Stab: Sparkey's first bot to beat all the stock HWs, with above 20 versions as of now, it has two Face spinners on the front and 2 spikes on the back
  • Saw N00b: Sparkey's first "remarkably good" (For him at the point the post was made) DSL bot, able to take down Mako, among others, in a matter of seconds.
  • Little Boxer Two: A DSL antweight based off the Stock AI robot, The Boxer. It uses two boxing gloves to ram. It came 3rd in CombatAnts 2.
  • AHHHHHHHHHHhh COME ON!!!! !: A Wammer/Flipper hybrid entered into BBEANS6. Considered as a waste of an entry. Lost 0-2. It won one round by havok forfeit.
  • Knight Owl: The first bot sparkey has built that he doesn't consider waste, able to take down Starcore v4 Tempest Fugit.
  • Satans Hard Drive: Another bot sparkey built that has been considered decent. It was made for Clash Cubes4. Current record: 2-1.
