Trivia:

  • It's the first Pig-Themed robot to have been entered into a RA2 Tournament with multiple people entering.
  • The idea for the robot's theme came about whilst GF93 laid out the weaponry. He thought that the spikes, when mounted onto the Flipping Arm, somewhat resembled a Warthog's tusks, so he decided to continue the theme from there.
  • It was originally going to have a generic n00by theme to it, but GF93 knew this would be the case for most competitors, so he created a custom Paintjob for it, to compliment its theme, as well as to stand out from the rest of the robots on display.

What GF93 has listed as Hog of War's Strengths and Weaknesses:

Strengths:

  • Powerful Flipping Weaponry- in testing, it was capable of quite easily overturning most of the Stock Heavyweights, including the infamous EMERGENCY.
  • Damage Capabilities. A Unique Factor for the flippers in the tournament, so unlike other flippers seen in the tournament, Hog of War can win on points if necessary.
  • Low Ground Clearance at Front (Thanks to the Wedge setup), so is good at getting underneath opponents.
  • Reasonably Fast.
  • Sloped Sides deflect Spinning Weapons, which work especially on Horizontal Saw Weapons.
  • Invertable, so cannot be immobilised straight away if flipped.
  • Basic Self-Righting Capablities.
  • Above-Average Battery Power for robots in the Tournament.

Weaknesses:

  • Below-Average Turning Speed.
  • Somewhat Fragile Armour.
  • Exposed Wheels.
  • Weaponry can make the robot jump, potentially allowing sneaky opponents to get under it.
  • Can Self-Right to use its weapon when flippd over, but requires a Good Runup whilst inverted to do so.
