Cruiserweight (CW) is an unofficial weight class originally created by GK and JoeBlo which was planned to make its competition debut in Clash Cubes 5. However, the tournament was set back when JoeBlo took a hiatus from the community.
It was set for robots between 399.0 and 600.0 kg. It also "bridges" the big jump between the standard Middleweight and Heavyweight.
Cruiserweight gained decent amounts of support through its original discussions. However, like all non-standard weight classes, (with exception to Superheavyweight) it also has people who oppose it.
One notable Cruiserweight tournament, Cruisin' For A Bruisin', has been done.
The name also reflects the Boxing weight class which Cruiserweight sits between Middleweight and Heavyweight.
