Ion, also known as Ion-, is a Heavyweight Flail Shell Spinner/Sit & Spin hybrid built by NFX, and entered into the
Steel Warzone tournament.
When the splash was released, Ion was instantly touted as one of the tournament favourites. During its dominant run through the brackets, it lived up to its predictions, taking out SKBT and madman3's Vertical Spinners, before defeating Urjak's deadly HS. The final match against GK was the longest match of the tournament, partly because it lasted the full three minutes and was decided on points, but mostly because if the immense amount of lag Ion generated from its numerous flails. Despite losing the majority of its weaponry, Ion was able to comfortably outscore its opponent, and become the first unrealistic DSL tournament champion.
