Arcane, is an IRL and replica builder typically building using vast amounts of extenders. Despite only joined the forum in June 2017, Arcane has visited the forum numerous times in the past few years as a guest following the creation of various replica packs by WhamettNuht & HereticBlue.

He is mostly known for building GHW extenderbot replicas of the ABC Battlebots Competitors with the intention of creating a replica pack of his own. As of creation of this page; he has built 41 of the 64 replicas he set out to build upon joining the forum.

He is a huge endorser of Dragonsteincole's IRL Component Packs, which adds recoloured and reskinned versions of commonly used DSL components providing the opportunity to add bright colour and intricate detail to DSL builds. He has used the components from this pack in every single one of his builds on the forum.

Building Ability

DSL - So far has only built in DSL-IRL style, preferring to create visually good looking bots over combat effectiveness which for the most part is to his detriment. His heavy use of extenders take up most of the weight of his bots meaning they are typically significantly less powerful than other bots in their class. This has shown to be prevalent in his tournament entries which have failed to perform in combat.

Tournament Entries

International Wars 2017 - Parting Is Such Swede Sorrow - Lost to Drugged Up Stepsister in Round 1 (0-1).

Notable Robots

Parting Is Such Swede Sorrow - A DSL 2.2 HW robot originally built as a shell spinner created to represent Sweden in International Wars, Swede Sorrow was lacklustre in testing due to the sheer weight of the weapon (weighing 575.0kg of the 800.0kg limit). It was then rebuilt as an overhead spinner and entered into the event. Having lost it's first fight in Round 1, it's currently sitting in the loser's bracket awaiting it's second fight.

Contagion 1.1 - A SHW extenderbot armed with two large horizontal spinning discs each with 4 large teeth resembling a very large drone. Has been entered into the Super Heavyweight Rumble side event for Orc Wars which has yet to be hosted.

Chandefear - A giant Chandelier artbot entered into the October 2017 bot of the month (BOTM). A very large (flight capable) drone-bot weighing a colossal 6045.0kg. Armed with numerous flamethrowers decorated around the outer ring of the chandelier to look like candles. Despite very tough competition, Chandefear managed to rank third place with 13.7% of the vote.

Notable Replicas

Radioactive (Battlebots) - Arcane's first build on GTM and first replica of a real life bot; a recreation of the ABC's Battlebots Season 1 competitor. Originally built out of steel & titanium extenders from base DSL 2.2. After receiving a large amount of feedback and advice, it was later recreated using coloured extenders.

Nightmare (Battlebots) - A replica of the Season 7 (ABC's Season 2) machine. Featuring a recreation of the famous Nightmare Disc made entirely out of small steel extender pieces. This particular replica had to undergo six rebuilds due to the complexity of building the weapon and game engine glitches causing the robot to permanently bend out of shape. It is indisputably the bot he is most proud of.

Warhead (Battlebots) - Featuring the articulating spinning dome, movable self righting wings and the raising tail. Is also able to perform Warhead's well known "headstand" despite weighing around 4000.0kg in game.

Recyclopse - A replica of the old Series 1 Robot Wars competitor created by both Arcane and Dragonsteincole to work in a tag-team with DSC's Mortis replica in GTM Live. The event however did not take place and the replica has since gone unused.
