Rampant Puppy Love was a Middleweight Hammer/Wammer hybrid built by Metal Virus for BBEANS 1. It was Metal Virus's first two BBEANS competitions, the second being BBEANS 2 with Apocalypse Pony, another Hammer/Wammer hybrid. Apocalypse Pony was one of the only DSL bots that Metal Virus ever built. RPL then lost to RipTide, because Rampant Puppy Love is different from other Hammer designs. Its ramming rack makes it more likely to hit the front of a bot instead of the bottom. So the spikes most likely were launched directly into the spinners. Then, Rampant Puppy Love SOMEHOW lost to razor guy, a crappy as hell rammer, which has a bad wedge, large exposed tires, and everything else that is fodder for a decent bot.
