Flame wars are arguments gone wrong within the forum.

Flame wars are often started by Forum Arsonists, Vet Whackers, or particularly aggressive n00bs or by the result of n00b whacking (but generally not wanted by n00b whackers themselves).

Flame wars often start in a thread of medium importance.
