The "arena" is the setting in which the robot battle takes place. There are several different types of arenas that support different gamemodes, each with their own unique layout and hazard setup.
Stock Arenas
- Main article: Stock Arenas
The stock version of the game is packaged with 12 arenas (not including the practice arena or event results arena). These arenas were created by Infogrames and there has been one update (which was to fix the Electric Arena). The Combat Arena is by far the most used arena ever created.
DSL Arenas
- Main article: DSL Arenas
DSL comes with 21 new arenas (not including the Practice Arena and Event Results) with features never before seen in RA2. Elevators, rovers, pendulums, bullies, and more make this pack one of the best ways of bringing new life to an ever aging game. It is also worth noting that most of the arenas were designed and built by Lu-Tze for DSL 1 but they are still capable of standing up to modern standards.
Custom Arenas
