The Ring Arena is a low wall, circular arena (hence the name) that was expertly constructed by Serge after being requested by JoeBlo for use in RA2: Backlash. Not to be mistaken for the The Ring which is found in DSL.
The Arena was made public in Serge's custom showcase and was later used in Chinese Whispers and Total Annihilation.
Overview
The basic concept behind the Ring Arena comes from JoeBlo asking for an arena where pinning was very difficult (though Chinese Whispers did have a bunch of pinning in it) and where a lack of corners would allow spinners to maintain momentum even after hitting a wall.
