The Bane series is a series of LW Shell Spinners built by Urjak.
Bane
Builder: | Urjak |
---|---|
Weight class: | Lightweight |
Weapon: | 6 Flail Razors |
Weapon power: | Dual Magmotor |
Drive: | 2 Astroflights/Small Ant Wheels |
Unlike nearly all of its successors, Bane I utilized a Double Mag and had a full shell with all eight shell panels.
Bane II
Builder: | Urjak |
---|---|
Weight class: | Lightweight |
Weapon: | 6 Flail Razors |
Drive: | 2 NPC Regulars/Hypno Wheels |
Armor: | 1mm Titanium |
Trivia: | Bane II was the only SnS in the Bane series. |
Because the first Bane lacked controlled movement (before the invention of Melty Brain AI), Urjak designed the second Bane to be a SnS that was fully controllable. This Bane was not as good as its predecessor.
Bane III
Builder: | Urjak |
---|---|
Weight class: | Lightweight |
Weapon: | 8 Flail Razors |
Drive: | 2 Astroflights/Small Ant Wheels |
Bane III marked a return to the Shell Spinner design. With 8 razors, Bane III was one of the deadliest Shell Spinners of its time.
Bane IV (unofficial title)
Builder: | Urjak |
---|---|
Weight class: | Lightweight |
Weapon: | 8 Flail Razors |
Drive: | 2 Astroflights/Small Ant Wheels |
Despite Bane III's potency, its shell panels were left exposed by the razor placement. After placing half the razors on the top and half on the bottom, Bane IV's design became an archetypal LW Flail Shell Spinner design.
