There are many n00b mistakes, and now they are here.
Stock
- Using square extenders
- Using very heavy weapons
- Using Small battery packs on a bot heavier than a beetleweight (LW in some circumstances)
- Putting Steel, Aluminium or Titanium as armor rather than staying DSA
DSL
- Using weapon motors for drive
- Using DSA
- Using WP36E batteries
- Using 10mm steel armor (all that weight would be better in weapons/drive/external armor)
Both
- Empty Space
- Putting Casters under a wedge and wondering why it can't get under anything
- Putting several control boards into your bot because you think it will make the control boards more difficult to hit
