One of the four armour types in Robot Arena 2. The others are aluminum, titanium & steel. Generally the weakest of the 4 and is the lightest available armor type available in the stock and DSL versions of Robot Arena 2 respectively (Most of the other mods are solely based on the stock version, this rule applies to those mods as well).
STOCK
Plastic Armor is usually the lightest armor available without any known cheats or glitches (DSA for example). This means that it is most useful for building bots that must be light in favor of its weight class requirements, like AWs, BWs, and some LWs.
Plastic Armor is also the weakest form of armor, so it is an extremely bad choice for heavier built robots like MWs, HWs, and SHWs, or bots that have large chassis.
However, it's sometimes used on Middleweights, if the bot really needs the weight due to a big & heavy weapon.
DSL
Comes in four different thicknesses as all DSL armours, Plastic 1, Plastic 3, Plastic 5 & Plastic 10, giving more variety to the armor type.
Plastic 1 armour is the weakest armour in DSL (besides DSA), is rarely used by advanced builders. This being said, Mako, a very successful robot, used Plastic 1.
Plastic 3 is a commonly used armour on Lightweights, due to the weight restriction.
Plastic 5 is a commonly used armour on Middleweights & Heavyweights. It is alround a good armour choice, having a good ballance between weight & strength.
Plastic 10 is a rather heavy & strong armour, which is still used, but not guite so commonly. Builders tend tov refer to anything heavier than this as 'overkill'.
Overall, Plastic is one of the two better armour types in DSL, the other being Titanium.
