Cruiserweight (CW) is an unofficial weight class originally created by [[GK]] and [[JoeBlo]] which was planned to make its competition debut in [[Clash Cubes]] 5. However, the tournament was set back when JoeBlo took a hiatus from the community.
It was set for robots between 399.0 and 600.0 kg. It also "bridges" the big jump between the standard [[Middleweight]] and [[Heavyweight]].
Cruiserweight gained decent amounts of support through its original discussions. However, like all non-standard weight classes, (with exception to [[Superheavyweight]]) it also has people who oppose it.
One notable Cruiserweight tournament, [http://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=11394.0 Cruisin' For A Bruisin'], has been done.
The name also reflects the Boxing weight class which Cruiserweight sits between Middleweight and Heavyweight.
