Basically a [[Crawler]] with actual wheel drive - but the weapons must touch the ground.

A half-crawler is a different breed of [[Crawler]] with actual wheel drive - but the weapons must touch the ground (if not it is most likely a [[VS]]).

 

Half-crawlers are generally much faster than normal crawlers and also have easier driving, but they also are one of the less stable robot designs and are more vulnerable to attack than crawlers. They are known to go into [[Spikeball mode]] very easily.

A saw-using example would be [[CRAZY WHEELIE SAWBOT]], but they might use discs or tribars as well.
