Good matchups are a tournament phenomenon in which a bot, usually a decently built one which was expected to win a lot of matches, is matched up against a number of bots that will most likely put it at an advantage. It is different from Bad matchups in that typically the general audience are expecting the particular bot to win its match and it actually does (along with additional matches).
Examples of this:
* A Popup matched up against a HS of some sort for the preliminaries, and then again against another HS in the loser's bracket.
* A VS matched up against a Rammer in the prelimenaries, and then against a Pusher.
Trivia
*Bots that have Good matchups generally don't end up in the Loser's Bracket, but this can be totally coincidental.
