A DSL equivalant of caster armor, '''Narmor''' takes advantage of the odd collision mesh of the skirt hinge component. It involves attaching a series of skirt hinges along a robot's front side and angling them to create a near-impenetrable and largely invisible shield. The advantages over caster armor are, it is much, much lighter, covers more area, and can be attached to slopes easily. The disadvantages are mainly getting trashed by other members, but also wide wedges tend to get stuck between 2 skirt hinges (somehow lke caster armor but worse)

The name "Narmor" is derived from [[Naryar]], who was the first to utilise this glitch, doing so with his BBEANS 6 entrant, but the name was coined by [[NFX]] as a joke during a discussion about realism in DSL.
