Install instructions for CD version of the game

Preparations for the stock game

• Install Robot Arena 2 from your CD.

• Go to C:/Program Files/Infogrames and Copy/Paste the Robot Arena 2 folder Rename the copy to Robot Arena 2 v1.0 (to be used for online play with others with v1.0)

• Download the NO_CD Patch for v1.0 and unzip to the Robot Arena 2 v1.0 folder and open the folder and run the patch. (find it here https://gametechmods.com)

• Open the folder named Robot Arena 2 v1.0 and right click the Robot Arena 2 icon and send to desk top (make shortcut) Rename the desktop icon to RA2v1.0.

• Open the Robot Arena 2 folder and double click the Robot Arena 2 icon and it will launch the game. Set video and audio (I always turn off Arena Introductions)

• From now on this will be your "clean" game folder, so rename it "Robot Arena 2 Clean.

• Copy/paste your clean folder and rename it to "Robot Arena 2" this will be your main game, and some mods install to it by default so you may want to name it "Robot Arena 2 Stock" and make any copies named "Robot Arena 2" so you can install the mods and then rename it to whatever you like.

Preparations for DSL and other TC mods

• Copy paste your "clean" folder and rename the copy to Robot Arena 2 DSLv2.0

• Download DSL-TC v2.0 and install to an EMPTY folder on your desktop.Move ALL the contents by hand (drag and drop) to your Robot Arena 2 DSLv2.0 folder and overwrite all.

• Open the Robot Arena 2 DSLv2.0 folder and right click the Robot Arena 2 icon and send to desk top (make shortcut) Rename the desktop icon to DSLv2.0.
