Lil' Dog is just a plastic, non-invertible, weaponless wedge. He can be annoying because he's very fast and has a good pushing ability, but besides these factors (and the cool-looking paint job), it lacks many redeeming features, being quite easy to beat with almost any design.
The DSL version of Lil' Dog is a weaponless pusher (AKA pure Wedge) called Mangy Mutt.
Fast but nearly unable to do damage. If you have no wedge it's annoying, but if you have one it's worthless.
