Trivia: The edge lines on razor guy's paintjob come from when you export the paint template, and then re-import it back to the bot. The act of a bot pulling off consecutive surprise wins is called 'pulling a razor guy', also known as a 'razor guy run'. One of the bots that performed this was Insult to Injury V.

Razor guy was a Middleweight Wammer built by mastertech for BBEANS 1. It was mastertech's only BBEANS tournament. Razor guy was a wedged rammer with huge tires, steel, a crappy wedge, miniscule weaponry, and a shortage on battery life. Razor guy is also not invertible, which explains why it lost in the first round to TweakerBeater. Then, razor guy started one of the most improbable runs ever by a bot in a BBEANS Tournament. The only bot ever to match razor guy's run is Insult to Injury V, a bot entered in BBEANS 5. Razor guy first took out Terminal Velocity, a slow, stable Dual VS. Then, razor guy wrote itself down in history, as it beat Rampant Puppy Love, which was voted as the best bot in the tourney. Razor guy won because in two of the three matches, RPL fired it's hammers early on, lifting the front wedges up allowing razor guy to get under Rampant puppy love, pushing RPL into the saws. This prompted Clickbeetle to put something in the middle of the arenas because the first hit is always too unpredictable. Then it beat a more manageable opponent in Barbie's badly wedged Gravity Well, and lost to Loser's Bracket runner-up to-be, I Will Get Shredded. Mastertech is ranked 50th in BBEANS Standings.

A sequel to the original Razor Guy (built under the new username of BDBlu) was entered into RoboGames, where it placed second behind Vulcan M.
