Matilda

Description

Matilda is a real life robot from the show Robot Wars. She is one of the house robots. Matilda was recreated in the DSL-TC mod. It is a Medium-Weight whose primary weapon is the pink spiked disk on her rear, although she can also use her flipping tusks. The AI only uses the rear disk, but seperate controls for controlling the "nose" do exist. Matilda's actual chassis is a very small square chassis, who's wheels are of larger size than it. The rest of Matilda is made entirely of custom components, excluding the hidden motors in the tail and front, as well as tires, batteries, etc. The Matilda Tooth(the spike on the disk) is a spike that has high hitpoints, but doesn't do as much damage as other spikes of its weight(it is of low weight), many of the other AI bots use Matilda Teeth, and it is also a selectable component. Interestingly, the Matilda Tusks are used on the robot "Forkie", and are also selectable. Every other component on Matilda is a "Matilda-Only" component. Matilda's disc weapon is incredibly powerful, being able to do great damage to most HeavyWeights. However, Matilda can be easily defeated be knocking her over onto her sides or back, where her metal hide can no longer protect her fully, and she usually dies of immobility.
