Sawbots are close to VS because they do have a vertical spinning weapon.
But contrarly to vertical spinners or drums that features bars/discs/tribars, a sawbot's weapon is just (as the name implies) a saw or circular weapon attached to a motor.
Sawbots suck in Stock RA2, but they can be very efficient in DSL.
Ninja and BOT-204 are sawbots, but Ripblade isn't one, but a disc VS, and this in both DSL and Stock.
