The Legend of Bryce Genesis is a Middleweight robot built by Radio F Software. It competed in the 9th DSL BattleBots tournament.
The robot is a mobile "sandbot", a "punching bag" style of robot designed by Bryce Genesis (an AceUplink member from 2003 who stayed in the community for only a few months). A "sandbot" is meant to be an immobile box with caster wheels to reduce friction; seeing an opportunity to build upon a long since forgotten design, RFS opted to pioneer a mobile version of the sandbot as a proof of concept. The Legend of Bryce Genesis also features artwork by the community member it derives its name from who selected his screenname based upon the modeling software Bryce5.
