Custom components are components created by some players. Generally unbalanced. Not including [[skinning]].
Generally, using custom components to fight other bots, especially [[stock AI]], is considered as [[n00b]] or [[ed30t]] behaviour.
Worse, showcasing robots with custom components on them is the best way to be flamed. If you make that as a newbie, this can lead to the [[Venko]] Effect (but [[Venko]] himself never used custom components)
