WhamettNuht
WhamettNuht is a 14 year old RA2 player from Basildon, in the UK, and is currently one of the few gay members on the forum.
He has done all sorts in RA2, AI'ing, Creating Components & Arenas, Hosting Tournaments, and a few more. He likes to MOD RA2 more than build bots and enter other tournaments. He discovered the fix for the Firestorm DSL 2.1 Havok Explosion. Some of his tournament bots include
Chuzzle - A SnS DSL HW that entered Wild Robots Live. Chuzzle lost his pod against Hope No More 3.2 and Destroyer WDB. (Note: It's a little known fact that Chuzzle's name is based on a Puzzle Game of the same name)
Revenge of Doctor Wham - A HW Pop-Up that entered BBEANS 5. RODW lost his first fight to Consonent/Vowel, placing him in the losers bracket. He then went on to face Chernobyl and Heaven's Sawmill, beating both, but then losing to No Hype 5.
The Telephone Effect - The Telephone Effect is a FS entered in BBEANS 6. The robot is based on the Lady Gaga song - Telephone, displaying the Music Video's logo on the top & bottom, Lady Gaga & Beyonce on the Back and the lyrics from the chorus hidden behind the front components. In it's first fight, TTE fought Craaig's Blood Orange, but lost 2-1. So, much like it's BBEANS 5 counterpart RODW, TTE was placed in the losers bracket against System 32's Conficker, and narrowly beat it 2-1 with some help from the arena hazards.
Hunter - His entry in Replica Wars 2, but however lost in the first round. Hunter is a replica of his own robot in real life. The replica is basically a 4 wheeled wedge-box that has been skinned with exact pictures of the different sides of Hunter. Hunter however lost to Pwnators Dark Pounder in the first round. Hunter tried to put up a good fight, but the spinner of Dark Pounder got the better of him in the end. Hunter later won the award for "Best Replica".
He got started in touraments with a You Tube series he did called Wild Robots, which featured bots he built himself battle each other in an all or nothing style tournament. The series made a come back in late 2009, and also had an Xmas Special that year. The series is due to come back for Series 4 later in the year.
WhamettNuht hosted as well Wild Robots Live, a DSL HW tournament with some rather odd brackets. New to that tournament was the presence of House Robots in the arena, hard-coded by Madiaba (they really didn't matter though). In 2010, Wild Robots Live 2 came around, of which the class this time was Stock MWs. The arena was the same one used in WR Returns. This is said to be WhamettNuht's last tournament hosted on Gametechmods.
One of WhamettNuht's biggest projects so far is his Roaming Robots AI Pack/ Game. It is a replica pack of robots in Roaming Robots - of which he competes in. Using a wide mixture of component moddding, Wham has created a large ammount of near DSL-standerd replicas including Bigger Brother, Ripper Evo and Storm Force.
In real life, he is a roboteer in his Team, Team Hunt, of which him and his parents are the team members. He has a number of robots to date. He has 3 featherweights: Hunter, Artemis & Alejandro, one Battle Rat (mid FW and AW): Crime Scene, and one AW at the moment: LPM2. Hunter is a push bot, with 3 wins under its belt, but is now due for a rebuild. Artemis is a FW flipper who has so far only battled once, but is still under construction. Alejandro is Wham's first self-build FW, an axe, who has so far competed once. Crime Scene is set to be a bigger brother to AW, LPM2. LPM2 (or Little Patience Mk. 2) is an AW pusher with a front lifter and pushing horns.
