Emergency is a stock AI flipper robot that many newbies to the game find impossible to beat, and is one of the most notable bots in RA2.

The first statement is of course not true, even if it's considered as the best HW of the stock AI.

It is a fact that some lightweights can easily take down Emergency (actual record, 15 sec-win with Anulbis, a lightweight Rammer from the v3 of the Starcore AI packs).

If you ever hear anyone say the usual "Emergency is so good!!!! It's impossible to beat!!!!! Its soo hard!!!!!", they are likely very new to RA2.

Emergency features some decent frontal defense (4 ramplates) the most powerful flipper in all Stock AI (Double DDT), the most powerful drive (4WD HP Z-tek, tied with SnowJob, although SnowJob is technically faster because it is lighter) and the better armor (Double Strength Steel). However, it's not as effective as it could potentially be, because it can't do any decent damage with only the ramplates. Wedge quality is below average and can only self-right some of the time.

Also the only bot near 800kg, the other HW's being around 450-550.

Flying_Chao made a SuperHeavyWeight from the chassis of EMERGENCY, which is incredibly powerful.

EMERGENCY was one of the few bots to use intersecting components (a common practice in the RA2 community). Also interestingly, it is one of the only bots to switch its AI tactic from flipper to rammer once its main weapon is torn off.

The DSL version of Emergency is a flipper called Critical Emergency.

Probably as annoying as the Stock version, it is fast, has decent defense, one of the best wedges of all the heavyweights, and finally, it has three Iron spikes on top of him, so it actually makes damage for a flipper. Still not much of a threat to decently-weaponed bots since its damage is comparatively low, but even still, it is still good at KOing opponents via flipping, OOTAing in low-walled arenas, and using its strength to push foes into hazards.

Emergency also has a whole team dedicated to him in the Starcore AI packs.
