Bad Posts

A bad post is a post on a forum that doesn't add anything to the conversation at hand or is unintelligible to anyone but the poster. This could be spamming, flaming, using more than 5 emoticons, 1337 speak, ALL CAPS POSTS!!!, or posting multiple times in a row instead of just editing your original post. An example of a bad post would be:

This is a bad post because it is a direct insult to a person without attempting to improve the situation. This form of bad posting has become all-too-common on the RA2 Forums as of late, possibly because of the influx of new members in the past few months.

Punishment

Unfortunately, today many bad posts go unnoticed when posted by veteran members, leaving new members with poor role models and eventually leading the newer members to punishment while the immortal veterans remain untouched. Some more common forms of punishment after repeat offenses include:

-Banning

-Embarrassing Avatar or Member Title (AKA Mark of Shame)

-Flaming by other members eventually resulting in exile
