Ok, if you have DSL 2.1, you'll probably know that the Firestorm replica often havoks when he fires his flipper.
Well, there is a rather simple explanation for this; Firestorm uses The Judge's burst motor, a special replica motor used in most DSL flipper replicas. The burst motor works best if whats on it weighs 30kg or more.
If you look at the firestorm flipper in the bot lab, you'll see that it is less than 30kg. So, here's what you do:
- Go to C:/ProgramFiles/Infogrammes/Robot Arena 2(or whatever you have DSL in)/Components
- Open up the firestormflipper.txt file
- Go to the line which says mass = 10
- change mass = 10 into mass = 30
- Save the file, close all windows down and power up Robot Arena 2 DSL.
No need to do anything else, the change should happen automatically.
When done you'll find Firestorm is a rather powerful flipper bot.
