F1Krazy is a British builder who joined GTM in September 2016. He is one of several members who found the site through Redditbots, which he entered with eventual quarter-finalist Vertigo, despite not actually having a Reddit account. Prior to joining GTM, F1Krazy was one of the more prominent members of Robot Arena 3's Steam community: he jointly pioneered the AW class in RA3, with the AW limit of 185 being based on his AW Blue Beetle.
Since joining GTM, F1Krazy has rapidly improved and is a regular tournament entrant, with consistently average performances. He won his first tournament in July 2017 as part of the winning team in Light v Dark 3. For a time, he was regularly matched against fellow Essex resident Rob Collins in tournaments, to the point of it becoming a running gag.
Bot Building
Stock: Has recently started experimenting with Stock but is still largely an amateur.
DSL: F1Krazy's mod of choice. Generally builds IRL bots, often with complex extender armour.
Ironforge: Varies between IF-S and Unrealistic. Generally only builds in IF for specific tournaments.
Retooled: Again, generally only builds for specific tournaments. Likes flamethrowers.
RA3: Has built a plethora of Standard and IRL bots, which have been well-received. Remains one of the last users to build in RA3.
Notable Bots
Vertigo - A HW VS armed with two Mini Minion discs, it was F1Krazy's first DSL robot. The original version reached the quarter-finals of Redditbots, despite the noob mistake of having DSA. The latest rebuild entered Mech Madness in March 2018.
Deathstalker - A CW armed with a Gothic Axe, it came 4th in Wild Card Rally after knocking out the highly-fancied Blizzard, and also appeared in Death Battle accompanied by a minibot named Venom. A HW version (Deathstalker Evo) and MW version (Redclaw) have also competed in tournaments, with little success.
Team DisHarmony - A team of Tombklones. The most successful, CW Minor Discord, reached the final of Robo Gauntlet and came 6th before finishing 4th in the rumble.
Disorientation - A MW Stock VS armed with 6 Bear Claws. Despite its apparent lack of weaponry and stability, it pulled off a shock run of three consecutive victories to help the Seinfeld Crusaders win Light v Dark 3.
Jungle Fever - A HW Tombklone armed with two Moros Blades stuck together, it lost in the first round of Light vs Dark, but finished 2nd in both rumbles and was voted Coolest Robot and Unluckiest Robot.
Horror of Koror - A HW undercutter, based on F1Krazy's previous robot Bluebird. It finished runner-up in International Wars, marking F1Krazy's best DSL tournament result to date.
OutOfBoundsException: A HW Ironforge VS, it finished runner-up in the HW bracket of ironyforge tornoment, F1's best result until his LvD3 win.
Rotisserie - A LW Retooled bot armed with a flamethrower and drill, it reached the final of Death-Defying Decemberween 2 and came 4th overall.
