From the naming of his robots, one can tell that he is a fan of Japanese video games, more specifically, The Idolmaster (bots named after songs) and R-Type (bots named after the game's fighter crafts). His name is often shortened to Yayoi, although [[Naryar]] often ends up calling him Taka instead. His personal preference is to build in DSL, since he feels he is not competent enough to build in [[Stock]].

[[DSL]] - Decent builder. He is a total [[Face Spinner]] addict and many of his bots feature four [[Iron Spikes]] on a disk as weapons. His personal preference in pure offensive power over everything else created a very painful and perhaps even masochistic addiction to using 1 mm plastic in DSL; as such, his robots feature a lot of external defenses and quite heavy weaponry for bots of the classes he builds in. Because of this, his bots can be compared to the bosses of the shoot-em-ups he loves - usually has quite good destructive potential, but have very weak internal defenses. However, TakatsukiYayoi pretty much sucks at building any other bot type that's not meant for [[gut-ripping]].

[[DSL]] - Decent builder at [[gut-rippers]], most notably [[face spinners]], but his non-gut-ripping bots aren't quite the force to be reckoned with. Seems to love over-weaponing his bots or using too fast drive motors for the bot type (ie. NPCs on a Lightweight Face Spinner), but always at the cost of using very weak armor (most often 1mm plastic, though he might also use aluminum and titanium as well). Maybe if he didn't try to make all of his face spinners look like the starfighters from R-TYPE, he could become a future Face Spinner specialist.

[[Stock]] - Not as decent as his DSL bot building is. He cannot even stack to save his life. It doesn't help that his "weakest armor" addiction carried over to Stock. He admits he cannot defeat [[EMERGENCY]] with a [[lightweight]].

A builder on the Gametechmods forums, sometimes called either Taka (by Naryar, much to TakatsukiYayoi's annoyance), or Yayoi. He joined the GTM forums in August 2008. Visibly a big fan of side-scrolling shooters, espescally R-TYPE (his Clash Cubes 2 entry is named after the starfighter of the same name). He seems to have some kind of attachment to anime fandom as well, though seemingly not to the extreme that S.T.C. displays. Yayoi has a strong preference for using DSL instead of Stock to build his bots because he just doesn't have the time to master even the most basic glitches.

He recently entered B5-C Platnium Heart for Clash Cubes 2, and although he defeated Chain of Impending DOOM in a controversial fashion, he would soon be pwned by Sage's entry, Mammoth, and System32's entry, Destiny, denying Yayoi the final spot of the CC2 tournament. He did, however, win a second grudge match outright against life robot arena2's Chain of Impending DOOM, by ramming him into the pit (after having dropped a fridge on Chain of Impending DOOM).

He is now hosting a DSL BW Tournament called "Micro Mayhem", which has managed to slowly get to the third round of competition.

Very strongly believes the Alliances and Grudges system only adds fuel to the fire of grudges, probably the main reason why he has no real alliance or grudge, though life robot arena2 used to annoy him quite a bit.

Building Skill

DSL - Decent builder at gut-rippers, most notably face spinners, but his non-gut-ripping bots aren't quite the force to be reckoned with.

Stock - Not as decent as his DSL bot building is. He cannot even stack to save his life. It doesn't help that his "weakest armor" addiction carried over to Stock. He admits he cannot defeat EMERGENCY with a lightweight.
