Emergency is a stock AI flipper robot that many newbies to the game find impossible to beat.
This is not true.
It is a fact that some lightweights can easily take down Emergency (actual record, 15 sec-win with Anubis).
If you ever hear anyone say the usual "Emergency is so good !11!one!!! It's impossible to beat !!1!1!! Its soo hard !!!11!one!!" Then you know that they are an ed30t (or just new).
Emergency features some decent frontal defense (4 ramplates) the most powerful flipper in all Stock AI, the most powerful drive (tied with SnowJob) and the better armor. But, it still sucks because he can't do any decent damage.
Emergency was also the main bot feared by the current forum member Armadillo. Eventually, Armadillo broke his painful addiction to Emergency.
Flying_Chao made a SuperHeavyWeight from the chassis of EMERGENCY, which is incredibly powerful. Also interesting, EMERGENCY was one of the few bots to use intersecting components (a common practice in the RA2 comunity).
The DSL version of Emergency is a flipper called Critical Emergency.
