A Gyro Drill, also known as a GD, Gyro Spinner, GS, or Gyro Bot is a newly discovered Robot Design created by [[Gigafrost]]. As the name intends, a Gyro Drill utilizes the games physics of inertia in order to try and damage an opponent, in much fashion as a gyroscope in procession, or in Laymen's terms, a spinning top.

==Building a Gyro Drill==

For a gyro drill to successfully do damage, the bot must be built in such a way so that it is, instead of trying to keep itself flat on the ground, taken it off its x-axis and have it balance on it's weapon, which in turn grinds down onto the opponent. To do this requires a motor that has enough torque to roll the bot sideways. Note that the bot will be more stabilized, the flatter and longer your weapons are (Overkill blades work wonderfully). The blades must be then turned at an angle to each other to further stabilize it when it "lifts off" and the bot's drive motors must be set so that the bot spins when the weapon spins - this too makes for a faster lift off. Once the bot starts spinning, it will be difficult to stop. Unless it is thrown off balance.
