Basically, putting your opponent out of the arena. The most suited bots to do that are flippers, but Vertical spinners can too.
Sometimes it has other causes, especially in DSL: see the fights: Iron Spaghetti VS FIRST ROUND FINALE! or Psycho Sweeper VS Rage III in BBEANS4.
Also happens if there is a hazard powerful enough to toss your bot long distances, or a dreaded havok.
