Redbird Motors are spin motors in Stock. They are long and red (hence the name), 5 kgs heavier than a RADs, and only slightly more powerful for 35% more weight (though are recommended over RADs, whenever possible). Redbirds are 4 kgs lighter than a ztek, and way less powerful. However if you really need the weight advantage then they are a godsend, and many LW's use them as both drive and weapon motors.
Redbirds were used to power the first BBEANS champion, Flaming Whizzer. They powered the weapons on BBEANS 3 runner up, Le\/el.
They are also used on dual LW FS, Objective, and many of Inf's LW bots.
