When builders judge a particular robot, they most likely use or refer to one or more of these four criteria:

Building skill: How well is the bot optimized and "well-built" - basically a good choice and placement of components.

Efficiency: How well a robot fairs in battle.

Creativity/Originality: How uncommon or new (that is, never before seen) is the robot's design.

Looks: Some builders pay special attention on their robot's cool looks. May be component placement, artful paintjob or both.

Clean or Messy The difference between a really good bot and an amazing bot is whether it is clean or messy. This is usually how sleek it is, if the extenders are miniml and well thought out, if the weapons are all facing the same way (like on a popup), and if it is too wide or too skinny.
