SCv1 Maelstom was one of the better HS when SC1 came out. It had a decent drive, a ramplate and it's weapons were 4 HPZ with 12 maces.
SC3: Maelstrom is one of the better heavyweights in Starcore V3. It uses 4 HP Zteks with 3 iron spikes on each tribar. It does have wedges but they don't really work well. They aren't on snappers but just on a baseplate anchor.
In V4 however, Maelstrom was completely overhauled. Now with twice as many irons and snowplow and castor armor defense, Maelstrom is one tough bot.
