Whereas Ice installed DSL right off the bat (desiring to fight the replicas), Tourdeforce, who isn't very experienced with computers, remained in Stock until he finally got it right.

At this point, Ice had already created a number of robots he considered to be quite good for his meager skill level, such as Dolphin and Skurge (who have both been through countless upgrades, and will likely go through many more). Tourdeforce however had to learn how to build all over again, but it didn't take long, and he soon had robots such as Mincemeat and Total Shrederation.

It wasn't belong before they organized a tournament between them. It was only a few rounds long, due to the low number of robots they both had, but the final fight was between Skurge and Mincemeat. The fight was about halfway done when the game glitched, sending Skurge hurling backward into the pit, despite Ice nearly breaking his Up-Arrow key by pressing it so hard. Tourdeforce agreed that it was unfair and the match was restarted. The end result was the same, with Mincemeat (a drumbot) being declared the first ever winners of the newly dubbed TVF (which stands for Tourdeforce vs. Frosty).

A few weeks passed by before the next tournament, seeing as the two both had many ideas of robot designs and wanted to have a bigger tournament. The second series was laid out kind of like AON Bot Wars, with four robots per heat, and a winners and a losers round. There were six heats, with one seeded robot in each. The series was broadcasted on Youtube (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vfayxqHmbwM&feature=channel_page), but before the Semi-finals were filmed, Tourdeforce had a new router installed, a wireless one so his sister's new laptop could connect to the internet. This no longer allowed the two to fight online, so TVF was cancelled.

Ice went on to do another series, one that was for fun and not serious at all. It was called FRA (not to be confused with the Fighting Robot Association), which stands for Frosty Robot Arena. The heats were fully-sized (Eight per heat), with six AI robots and two of his own robots, in almost every heat (there were a few exceptions). It wasn't until the fourth series that Ice decided to broadcast this series too.

Despite having the game for over a year, Ice has far to go with his robot building skills, if he wishes to catch up with the rest of the community. He mostly builds robots for experiments, rather than for serious competition. He recently made a video showcase of nearly every one of his robots (besides the ones he doesn't like at all). Naryar deemed almost every robot in the video as poorly built, without any suggestions on how to improve. Whereas Ice agrees that they aren't paticuarly good, he would have liked some suggestions on how to improve.

Ice doesn't really build professionally much either. He mainly builds for fun, and believes that although common advice like keeping a body as small as possible sometimes has exceptions. Skurge for example, isn't as effective when shrunk (as Ice built a small version, which wasn't nearly as effective as the original.

However, this might be affected by driving skill. Ice thinks of himself as a decent driver and knows exactly how to control most of his robots to their fullest extent.

''Skurge-''Skurge is probably his most shown around robots. Its been showcased, entered in the BOTM and entered in RAW. While often critized for its large body and abundance of empty space, Ice believes that the size is directly proportional to the effectiveness of the wedge, plus, it makes the weapon more effective. It perhaphs has a lack of power, and robots with good drive often drive over the top. If Skurge is being controlled by the AI, this is usually game over, seeing as it's too stupid to turn around in time.

In RAW it won the first round in its first fight, after sending its opponent hurtling out of the arena, acting as ramp. However, it wasn't as lucky in the next few rounds and was sent into the losers bracket. It was defeated there and removed from the tournament.

''Dolphin-''Now in its four reincarnation, the original Dolphin was Ice's first somewhat decent robot, with two VS and a rather flat design. It wasn't invertible however and couldn't self-right so Ice rebuilt it, with a rather interesting rear-wedged robot. It had two Perms (which became a tradition) for a total of four tribars. These broke too easily and the robot was too unstable and so was rebuilt again. Dolphin 3 again was inventive, with a Dantomkia inspired rear end, which was designed for ramps or wedges, and two spinning hammers on the front. However, it toppled over too easily and was remade into its current design.

Ice the Frosty Cat is an on and off member of the forum. He often alternates what he spends his time doing (between things like RA2, Osu, MMOs etc.), but every now and then he returns to RA2, but doesn't usually achieve much. He joined the original RA2 forums as "Ice the Frosty", because the registration screwed his username up, but the problem was fixed after the switch to GameTechMods.

He got the game in late 2007, at the same time as his friend, Tourdeforce (who, despite having an account on the forums, doesn't post much).

Tourdeforce discovered that he was able to host matches without the help of Hamachi (the two didn't know about Hamachi back then) and they reguarly fought with each other, despite the amount of lag that often ruined the fights. The end result was the same, with Mincemeat (a Drum) being declared the first ever winners of the newly dubbed TVF (which stands for Tourdeforce vs.

It wasn't until the fourth series that Ice decided to broadcast this series too. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wPLvTqMwFfo&feature=channel_page The series has long since finished, although several episodes still haven't been uploaded.

Ice was bored one day and decided to find out how he could play online with Tourdeforce again, and was told to use Hamachi by Starcore. And so, the two were able to fight once more, and TVF resumed, although, they both wanted to just get a new series underway so they cut two robots out and had the Grand Final between four robots Spoilers below for anyone who wishes to wait till it's uploaded (Skurge, MPF, Mincemeat and Next Stop, Jupiter). Skurge fought Next Stop, Jupiter (possibly Tourdeforce's strongest flipper), and despite usually winning when the two fought, was flipped out. MPF (One of Ice's first attempts at a decent flipper, although by this point, it had been granted two grinding discs) was destroyed by Mincemeat. Just when it looked like Mincemeat was going to take the crown for a second time, Next Stop, Jupiter dashed into the fight and almost effortlessly through the ex-champions over the wall and out of the arena.

The third series is halfway done and will be uploaded once everything else has also been uploaded.

Ice's bot building skills

His favourite type of robot are flippers and he has several of these, his newest being "Haven't a Clue Either", a remake of a robot he built simply to show a relative how the game works.

Robots which are worth a mention

Skurge-Skurge is probably his most shown around robots.

Dolphin-Now in its four reincarnation, the original Dolphin was Ice's first somewhat decent robot, with two VS and a rather flat design. Although a bit fast, Dolphin 4 was design to combat the problem of robots going over the top and avoiding damage. It has two Vladiator spikes on the motors which stop robots from escaping and grinding them at the same time. Its wedge isn't paticuarly good though so it doesn't usually get in under robots, but it's all about progress, all the same.
