In late 2014, after planning with [[KOS]], MKB created a post called 'Garry's Wars: Robot Wars in Garry's Mod'. The idea was that you built a robot in the game Garry's Mod and then fight the robots like you were to do in Robot Wars/Battlebots. There was quite a bit of downtime as MKB's computer power supply exploded and needed to be replaced. On the 30th of December, the idea was continued. The idea was passed around for quite some time due to lack of time and effort from MKB until about March of 2015 when the sign-ups were announced and music was put in place. [[RoboBowler]] was accepted as the 3rd official member to help with planning of the future events due to his frequent posts in the topic and his skills with Garry's Mod. .

Moudly King Bash registered on 27th December 2009. His name was changed to Mouldy on the 15th of April 2015. He is commonly referred to as "MKB" or his new name "Mouldy". Before even registering to the forums, he had gained somewhat of a negative reputation after challenging GameTechMods member, WhamettNuht to matches over YouTube.

2009-12

After signing up, he immediately began the Wheely Tag Tournament without knowing anything about tournament standards at the time. Several technical issues occurred, which led to GK taking over the hosting duties.

MKB also spammed the forum with a large amount of the letter "A" while pretending to be drunk to get attention.

Returned almost a year later and most notably challenging much more skilled builders than him (including Naryar and 70 CUDA) and only winning once against Naryar, he then stirred up a massive amount of drama in a thread about CaptainUseless returning. After an intense flame war, he promised he would stop spamming and trolling.

He was seen as extremely random, and even annoyingly so. It was nearly impossible to get in a sensible conversation with him.

2013-

After the thread with CaptainUseless returning. Mouldy disappeared again until 2013. When he came back, he was much more mature. He entered into Hell's Arena but once again failed and stopped visiting again. He returned a few months later and entered into the Swords of Glory and Orphans tournaments, once again, not doing well.

In 2014, Mouldy came back after another short break and entered into Minor Inconveniences and Father and Son He placed 3rd and 4th respectively which were his best tournament W/L ratios since 2009 and the first time he had truly proved himself to be a good DSL Builder.

During late 2014, Mouldy came back properly to the community and has stayed since. He has entered a few more tournaments over the course of 2 years including Father and Son II, Father and Son III and VG Showdown doing decently in each.

In mid-2016, he created Wheely Tag Tournament II which was a sequel to the original from 2009. With G.K not being around, Mouldy took it upon himself to AI entries. Fortunately, this time, no errors occurred and the tournament went ahead as planned. The tournament took 3 months to finish with a number of mess-ups during video editing but it eventually got finished.

Bot Building

Despite being an old member to the community, his bot building skills haven't really improved until recently. He states that his bad building skills are down to his lack of creativity. He is a good DSL builder in standard as well as IRL but it is clear that he , originally seemed not to care about improving but now does. During the 2009-12 stage he entered some bots into DSL tournaments however none of them were considered any good. During 2013+ though, his bot building skills have improved greatly.

One of his most infamous bots was his lightweight Flipper for WTT, Mini Mouldy Cheese 4, regarded by many as the tournament's SFTW.

The last notable bots of his were for The Father and Son tournament, Acid Cloud and Acid Thunder, two powerful flipper robots that placed 3rd.

His only notable Ironforge robot to date is the lightweight, "Holy Monster" which entered into the GTM Championship. It lost in both fights that it was in but OOTA'ed itself in one.

His only stock robot, "My First Robot" which competed in the GTM Championship, lost both its rounds.

In Retooled, his robot in the GTM Championship has won a fight and is set to win more.

Tetris Tournaments

In early 2014, after becoming addicted to Tetris, Mouldy set up a Weekly Tetris Tournament. [1] It was a 1v1 with best of three games and the loser being eliminated. The tournaments usually attracted 8-10 people per week. The tournaments were stopped late 2014 after Mouldy wasn't able to run them anymore.

The tournaments were restarted in late 2015 but ended a few weeks later, once again due to lack of enthusiasm.

Garry's Wars

In late 2014, after planning with KOS, MKB created a post called 'Garry's Wars: Robot Wars in Garry's Mod'. He and KOS built combat robots in the game Garry's Mod and fought them with some success. Realising the potential in this, he and KOS continued to develop different ways of building. Unfortunately, shortly after the post was made, there was quite a bit of downtime as MKB's computer power supply exploded and needed to be replaced.

On the 30th of December, the idea was continued. The idea was passed around for quite some time due to lack of time and effort from MKB until about March of 2015 when the sign-ups of the first major tournament were put in place. Notable members that had joined from the GTM community included Yugitom, Craaig, Thyrus and Ounce.

RoboBowler, a GTM lurker, made his first post on the forum on the topic. He posted a picture of a very advanced robot that was far more powerful than what was the norm in then-Garry's Wars. After showcasing himself to be extremely knowledgeable in the game and even able to create maps, he was accepted as the 3rd official member of the admin team alongside MKB and KOS.

The Garry's Wars's Steam group now has over 150 members with tournaments held daily.
