The Electric Arena is a square arena with a quite ''shocking'' hazard. In the center of the arena, there is an electrical zone, and if you go in to the electrical zone, you will be zapped, causing some intens damge to the inside electronics of your bot. An interesting thing about this arena is that in the intro, the guy says pressing the "buttons" in the corner will increase the shocking power. Even if you ram into the "buttons", I have noticed no increase in damge.

The Electric Arena is a standard combat arena packaged with the original version of Robot Arena 2. It is rectangular arena with beveled edges and a large electric grid in the center.

Overview

The Electric Arena is a fairly basic arena with regards to layout. It is rectangular in shape with labeled starting positions on each side of the arena. In its center is a large electric grid which shocks robots that drive over it. On two opposite corners of the arena, there are large red buttons surrounded by hazard stripes. While the announcer alludes to the fact that they are used to activate the center grid, this feature was likely cut from the game and these buttons serve no such purpose. Oddly, they do act like very weak wall spikes and inflict a small amount of damage when hit.

The Electric Arena is popular among tournament hosts, and is probably the most widely used stock arena next to the Combat Arena. With hazards disabled, the arena functions as a flat, unobstructed playing area. It is comparatively much larger than the combat arena and features beveled walls which make it more difficult for robots to get cornered.
