The ClawTop is a tabletop [[arena]] packaged with the original version of Robot Arena 2. It is a large, wall-less table suspended over a pit.
== Overview ==
The ClawTop is more conventional as opposed to the other tabletop arena, the [[FlexTop]]. The robots start in the center of the arena with their backs facing each other (a feature unique to this arena). Also unique to this arena is its namesake weapons - two slowly rotating [[hazards#claws|claws]] on either side of the arena. These claws were put here with the intention of pulling robots into the pit, however they are too slow and small to be effective. On the other sides of the arena are recessed grates with [[hazards#flamethrowers|flamethrowers]] mounted beneath them. These act as a double-threat, trapping robots with a low ground clearance and constantly damaging them.
Due to the fact that tabletop matches aren't very popular in either [[tournaments]] or [[multiplayer|online play]], the ClawTop isn't used very often.
