Bot file editing is basically making any kind of modification done to a robot by editing it's bot file.
If you are skilled, you can do a lot of things with bot file editing, from changing a simple stat value of a component within DSL to actually changing the entire shape, function, and design of the entire bot and it's components. However it is strongly considered cheating by most of the community, seen as just as bad as using Custom components. Bot File Editing is banned from most, if not all, Robot Arena 2 Tournaments. It is tolerated, however, to change chassis armour shine and other similar aesthetics.
