Possibly the most hated bot type.
Projectile bots are robots that use any of the various custom projectile weapons such as the cheatbot2 Cannons, and variations on this (laser cannons on Firebeetle's component pack). Mostly done using cheat parts, they are disliked by the community when someone just puts a cannon on a chassis, but when a real-life tank replica comes into a showcase with some special .py that makes it work AI-ed, it's a different matter.
ACAMS put a limit to these by making a showcase for bots that use custom parts.
