The match began with Insect Stomper and Little Guy attacking destroyer arrow flyer. Seaking looked on as Little Guy was flipped by the flooraiser, before it too was flipped. The four roots brawled together, ocaisionally one being flipped by the flooraiser. The breakthrough came with 1:09 to go then Insect Stomper drove into the pit. Even more surprisingly, former champion's robot Little Guy also soon reversed in. The two remaining robots clashed for the remainder of the battle. In the last 12 seconds or so, destroyer arrow flyer pushed Seaking into the hammers. In the nick of time, the match ended; another blow would have destroyed Seaking. Redline's robot went through on points.

Stingray instantly flipped El Torado over and attacked its underside, while Bolt and Little Flip made for each other. Stingray pounded away at El Torado but it caused no damage due to the invulnerable caster protecting Torado's top. Meanwhile, Little Flip flipped Bolt over twice, but Somebody's bot was able to tear off one of its exposed wheels. However, 090901's bot fought back, flipping it over. Eltorado was also able to tear off two of Stingray's razor tips. Stingray went over to Bolt and attacked it, but the spinning weapon on the HS tore off its hammer, rendering its weapon useless. El Torado joined the fray and attacked the other bots, although it had a chewblade taken off in the process. After being flipped over by Leiile Flip, El Torado then pushed Stingray into the arena hammer and Bolt was counted out. Stingray was then shoved into a hellraiser by Torado, the force of landing KO'ing it. Torado's other chewblade was torn off by Bolt's still spinning weapon, and it was flipped by Little Flip, but the sawbot fought back, pushing the flipper under the arena hammer, which eventually KO'ed it.
